Rodtang is one of the best attackers in the world and has trained since he was 7 years old. Growing up, Rodtang was a shy child who avoided conflict and had little interest in training and struggle. This changed when he fought in his first professional meeting Muay Thai at the age of 10, with the intention of supporting himself and his family by earning money through competition.
Initially, Rodtang started training in a small field in Phatthan, his province of origin. Later, he began to travel and discovered the iconic Jitmuangnon gym in Bangkok, where he continued to pursue better training. Rodtang then began to train full time in the Jitmuanegnon gym to pursue his dreams of becoming a world champion Muay Thai.

On the road to the top of the Muay Thai circuit, Rodtang twice won the prestigious Omnoi Stadium title, filling out over 250 victories in his career before turning 21. In 2019, Rodtang started doing waves on the global phase of the championship after beating Jonathan Haggerty to claim the Muay Thai championship belt.
Rodtang reigned on the division of Moscowweight for five years, during which his fighting furies and his game show became viral all over the world, making him one of the most popular superstars of sport.

His fight against Superlek in September 2023 was one of Muay Thai’s most iconic struggles in the history of sport and is trying to earn his redemption shot.

Faced with his opponent next 172 in Japan, Takeu is completely ready to prove he is the best Kickboxer in Moscow in the world. Raised in Yonago City, Japan, Takeu has always been fascinated by the rise of Japan’s Kickboxing promotion, K-1. He has always wanted to compete and become one of the stars in the promotion, but the lack of opportunities to train in kickboxing during his childhood prevented him from reaching his dream of martial arts, at least initially.
Instead, Takeu started karate in second grade and became part of his martial arts journey. After not being able to achieve his professional career goal and to become a childhood assistance worker, Takeu has decided to make a giant jump. He has worked multiple jobs to afford an aerial ticket and moved to Thailand to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a Kickboxing star.
After moving to Thailand, Takeu initially studied Muay Thai and then realized that he could earn a living in combat sports. He climbed the amateur rankings and brought his success to his professional career. In 2014, Takeu finally arrived at K-1.
Many consider it one of the greatest kickboxers of the modern generation after its unbeaten seven-year series in K-1, where she became a three-divisions (Super featherweight K-1, K-1 feather Weather and K-1 Super Bantamweight).
Last January 2024, he decided to join the fighting roster of a championship to face the greatest attackers in the world. After suffering from Rodtang’s same fate after dealing with Superlek in his debut in Kickboxing, Takeu is trying to overcome Rodtang and earn his shot against the current world champion of Kickboxing Flywoxing, Superlek.

Initially, Takeu had to fight Rodtang in his debut in a championship in January 2024. But when Rodtang retired from the match-up due to an injury, the world champion in charge of a Moscow, Superlek weights, entered and won unanimously.
Throughout the game, Superlek used his shots to create his low kicks against Takeu, which brought a large and more blade kickboxing position. While Superlek dominated the fight, Takeu has almost eliminated Superlek in the third round after making a blow to the body. He continued to dig, landed a burst of shots and went to the head as Superlek drenched.
However, Takeu fought until the end of five rounds and has shown that he was one of the most difficult strikers of the game. In an interview, Takeu revealed that his war against Superlek put him to the test, both physically and mentally, while fracturing his knee in two places after the fight.
Looking back at his fight against Superlek, Takeu learned that he needed to change his approach to his training camps to activate his body for fighting. His battle with Superlek made him re -evaluate his approach and has since focused on the optimization of his physical performance. Takeu has become more caring than his body and being 33, going constantly to the limit in every fighting field may not be the best strategy and may hurt him more than well.
While Superlek defeated Rodtang in their strictly contested game, he still earned the respect of many fans of the struggle all over the world in a game that could have gone in both ways. With Rodtang currently in a series of two fighting victories, he is trying to overcome Takeu and challenge Superlek for the title of Moscowweight, but this time, under the set of the Kickboxing rules.
Rodtang and Takeu suffered the same fate when they faced Superlek. The winner of the match between the two could be their ticket for a potential revenge against the Kickboxing champion in Moscow, Superlek, if he had successfully defended the belt against Nabil Anane the same day.
One 172: Takeu vs. Rodtang
