Céline Dumerc becomes the fourth French woman inducted into the Hall of Fame
Among the 8 new members of the FIBA Hall of Fame, the Frenchwoman Céline Dumerc was honored this Tuesday for her entire career.
It is a logical continuation for Celine Dumerc. The coach of the French women’s team was expected this Tuesday in Berlin for the presentation ceremony of the new members of the FIBA Hall of Fame. The first to be honored, she thus becomes the fourth French woman to have this privilege Jacky Chazalon (2009), Isabelle Fijalowski (2020) et Valerie Garnier (2023).

It is therefore the entire career of the French leader and former captain, with 262 appearances for the national team, that is honoured. Great architect of the continental title won in 2009, still the last won by the French team, he led the Bleues to the Olympic final three years later, marked by silver against the Americans.
Alongside the French team, Celine Dumerc he wore the colors of Tango Bourges Basket with which he won 6 French championship titles and the Euro Cup (2016), before joining Basket Landes to add a national title to his palmares.

Sue Bird (UNITED STATES), Clarisse Machanguana (Mozambique), Dirk Nowitzki (Germany), Hedo Turkoglu (Türkiye) e Wang Zhizhi (China) and the coach Ludwik Miętta-Mikołajewicz (Poland) also come from this 2026 vintage. Ismenia Pauchard (Chile), was appointed posthumously.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
