Free TV channels where you can watch the 104 matches of the 2026 World Cup live streaming

Good news, the broadcast of the 104 matches of the CDM 2026 is available for free live and in French on at least one of the official television broadcasters: M6 (France), RTS (Switzerland) and RTBF (Belgium). We remind you of the advice so as not to miss anything of today’s World Cup in free streaming, from France or abroad.

It’s time for the 23rd edition of the World Cup: 104 matches will mark the summer of 2026, until July 19, the day of the final. In France, 54 of the most beautiful posters will be broadcast free-to-air on M6. However, many interesting matches are overlooked, including Argentina-Algeria, Australia-Türkiye, Türkiye-Paraguay, or even Tunisia-Japan and Morocco-Haiti. Ultimately, it is the Maghreb countries that are the most affected. Let’s see how to watch these matches for free, via foreign channels.

Where to watch the 2026 World Cup for free?

For the pleasure of all of us, the 104 matches of the 2026 World Cup have at least one free broadcaster, live in HD and commented in French. If M6 broadcasts 54 free-to-air matches, the foreign channels RTS (Switzerland) and RTBF (Belgium) fill in with the missing 50 matches. Here is the list of free channels streaming the World Cup:

Free channel Live link Transmission (unencrypted)
M6 (French channel) m6.fr 54 games (in French)
RTS Sports (Swiss channel) rts.ch/sport 104 games (in French)
RTS2 (Swiss channel) rts.ch/play 104 games (in French)
RTBF (Belgian channel) auvio.rtbf.be 104 games (in French)
BBC (English channel) bbc.co.uk 52 games
ITV (English channel) itv.com 52 games
Rai (Italian channel) raiplay.it 35 games
RTVE (Spanish channel) rtve.es ~25 games

For foreign channels, or if you are abroad, you may encounter an error message (geoblocking). However, all you need to do is simulate your location in the country of the channel (Belgium, Switzerland) with a compatible VPN to access the live stream without blocking.

Quick tutorial:

  1. Install as desired: Cyberghost (45 day trial), ExpressVPN OR NordVPN.
  2. Localization in Switzerland or Belgium (or server optimized for RTS and RTBF on Cyberghost).
  3. Wait 20 seconds or refresh the web page on your PC, Mac or mobile device.

From now on, the channel believes that we are actually in Switzerland thanks to the VPN and will allow us to freely watch football on RTS, as in the following example:

Currently, Cyberghost offers a 45-day trial period100% refundable without conditions, to its new users. That is, you will be able to use the software to watch the entire World Cup with the possibility of a refund at any time. This tip also lets you watch other sports including MMA (UFC free-to-air), F1, tennis (Wimbledon coming June 29 on RTS), and many more.

Enjoy a 45-day Cyberghost trial

Furthermore, outside the trial period, a special Cyberghost World Cup offer for only €1.59/month the best value from premium VPN providers is available this month, before the usual price returns.

We can see in the screenshot above that we have access to football on RTS, thanks to Cyberghost. The same will apply for watching all 104 matches of CDM 2026, including those not broadcast on M6. These will also be broadcast free of charge on RTBF and other foreign channels. If needed, there is a link to an advanced tutorial below.

World Cup 2026 Preview and Favorites:

The 2026 World Cup changes format: for the first time 48 nations will participate, divided into 12 groups, compared to 32 in previous editions. Jointly organized by the United States, Canada and Mexico, it extends for 39 days, from June 11th to July 19th, the day of the final. This format has expanded into 104 games opens the door to nations rarely seen at this stage, and will reshape the standings and results every day as the matches progress.

On the poster side, the first round has no shortage of interesting events. The shock Argentina-Algeria immediately pits the world champions against an ambitious African selection, whileAngleterre-Croatia reproduces a classic from the latest tournaments. We will also be following closely Uruguay-Spainduel between Céleste and the European favorites, or Scotland vs Brazil, where the Seleção begins its journey. Brazil also meets Morocco at the start, a great clash of styles between a five-time title-winning nation and the surprise semi-finalist of 2022.

For the title, the hierarchy places Spain, reigning European champions, as favourites, ahead of a still formidable France and an England team seeking coronation. The eternal South American candidates, Brazil and Argentina, remain in the running, as does Portugal, led by its offensive generation. But with a new format and outsiders like Morocco or the Netherlands capable of shaking up the big names, this 2026 World Cup promises to be more open than ever.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
